School Districts cannot publicly comment on investigations involving employees or minors. FERPA protects student data.
FERPA requires schools and state and local educational agencies to keep the information from a student's records private and to get a parent or guardian's written consent before sharing it with anyone else.
Jordan Henry and Aneta Krpekyan demanding at public meetings that private student data be shared is a direct violation of FERPA.
Why don't they know this? Or do they, and they just don't care?
