The local extremist movement to "Evict Elen" (Mayor Elen Asatryan) after she was selected as Mayor this past April has completely lost steam.
Publicly available sources show the Evict Elen domain was purchased in July 23, 2023, nearly 10 months before the mayor rotation was set to take place.
However, the Evict Elen website IS still actively asking for donations!
The Evict Elen site says that "cash or check" donations can be mailed to 1146 North Central, 91201. If that address sounds familiar, that's because is the same address for "Clarkian Medical" which appears to be Alex Balekian's medical practice's mailing address.
Congressional Candidate Balekian is married to former Glendale City Council candidate James Clarke, who lost badly in 2024 despite having a mild British accent and giant signs of his face at the corner of every intersection all over town.
The Glendale Parents' Voices account, associated with Ani Torosyan and Aneta Krpekyan, still may have some Evict Elen yards signs!
Is it possible that Clarke and Balekian are behind Evict Elen? We may never know. A recent post to the Recall Elen Instagram account suggests that the movement is "losing traction." Wonder where the money went...
